In
addition to the projects noted above, Mr. King has been involved
in claims and dispute resolutions involving arbitrations and
trial cases, "Partnering" projects, and provided Code Consultation
services. Mr. King has been a guest lecturer for the University
of California Riverside on project development and served
as juror for the Society of American Registered Architects
Design Awards for California.
He
worked with the University of Washington and the Washington
State Easter Seal Society in the drafting of the Washington
State Standards for Barrier-Free Design in l975; subsequently
adopted by the State of Washington in l976 as the State’s
Handicap Access Code the nations first adopted state standard.
Mr.
King has specialized expertise in renovation, handicapped
access and code conformance projects. He served as the head
of the Building Department in Medina, Washington. He maintains
a close working relationship with the City & County of
San Diego and City & County of Riverside Building Departments.
